Postcard 1921 – Overthrow of the Governors 1618, anniversary of the execution of the Czech lords

A historical postcard issued on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the execution of the Czech lords on the Old Town Square in Prague (1621–1921). The obverse side features a period drawing depicting the overthrow of the governors Slavata and Martinice, along with their secretary Fabricius, from the windows of Prague Castle, which was a significant event in 1618 associated with the beginning of the Thirty Years' War. The postcard contains historical text about this event. Published by the magazine Čechy a Řím in Prague-Karlín. A beautiful piece for lovers of Czech history and collectors of thematic postcards.
