Postcard 1921 – 300th anniversary of the execution of the Czech lords, the quartering of Jesenský

Historical postcard issued for the 300th anniversary of the execution of the Czech lords on the Old Town Square in Prague. On the front side there is an interesting black and white drawing depicting the quartering of Doctor Jesenský on June 22, 1621, a crowd and the executioner gathered around the execution site. On the back side there is a commemorative text about the event from 1621 and a brief historical explanation. The postcard was published in 1921 by the publishing house of the magazine Čechy a Řím in Prague-Karlín. Condition is consistent with its age, slight wear on the edges, original printing. A perfect historical collector's item.
