High Gate of Rakovník – historical postcard

I am offering an original postcard with a black and white photograph of the High Gate in Rakovník. The High Gate, along with the Prague Gate, was an important part of the city fortifications. The most massive gate of the city was built in 1519-1524 and the front of the photograph depicts its characteristic three-story structure with a tall tower. On the back of the postcard there is a short historical description and there is also space for a stamp and address. The postcard is in very good condition, without description, suitable for collectors of regional monuments or lovers of historical architecture. The author of the photograph is J. Tachezy. Published by Orbis Praha.
