The postcard depicts the birthplace of Alois Jirásek in Hronov. This idyllic house is an important historical monument and commemorates one of the most important Czech writers. The postcard beautifully depicts not only the house itself with its traditional architecture, but also the surrounding peaceful environment with groups of people in period clothing, which looks very authentic. The reverse also contains information about the history of the city and its significance in connection with Alois Jirásek. The postcard is printed by the Orbis publishing house in Prague, photo by Zd. Menec, and is in very nice condition. A great collector's item for lovers of Czech history and monuments.
