USSR postcard – School ball, ill. B. Talberg, 1950s

Original Soviet postcard from the USSR period titled School Ball (Школьный бал), illustrated by B. Talberg. The postcard depicts a cheerful scene of a school ball, where children in uniforms and costumes dance and have fun in a festively decorated hall with colorful ribbons. The back side features typical signs of Soviet production – inscriptions in Cyrillic, the publisher and an emblem with a scythe and hammer. The postcard is suitable for collectors of the Russia/USSR theme or illustrated postcards from the mid-20th century. The condition corresponds to its age, both sides are well preserved with minor signs of wear, on the front side there are minor bends in the corners.
