Original commemorative postcard dedicated to Franco-Czechoslovak friendship, issued for the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Kresčak (Crécy) in 1946. On the front side is an artistic drawing inspired by the work of Mikoláš Aleš, depicting the Czech King John of Luxembourg in the battle, where he fought alongside the French. The postcard is described in Czech and French. The back side contains a brief historical description of the battle in two languages.
