Ethnographic postcard – women in folk costumes harvesting cabbage, Southwest Bohemia, 1917

An old postcard with an ethnographic motif of women in costumes from southwestern Bohemia, author J. Douba. The postcard depicts two rural women harvesting cabbage in a rural setting. The postcard bears traces of age, is described and was mailed in 1917 (Klatovy postmark). On the back there is a multilingual description (Czech, German, French, Russian) and handwritten text. Published by J. Plichta, Prague. A unique collector's item with a beautiful colored motif and an authentic atmosphere of the Czech countryside.
