Original historical postcard with a Christmas motif and the inscription Fröhliche Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) from the Austro-Hungarian period. The postcard features a colored picture of a pine branch with a pine cone and a photograph of a winter snowy square in Komotau (today Chomutov) with the description KOMOTAU - Marktplatz. The back contains the original handwritten dedication in German, a postage stamp and a postmark from 1908. The postcard is suitable for collectors of historical postcards, it documents the atmosphere of the early 20th century in the Czech lands and the tradition of Christmas cards from the region.
