Postcard 1937 Croatia – Zagorje bride, ethnography, folk costume, Zagreb
Original old postcard with ethnographic motif - Zagorska nevjeta (Zagorska nevjeta), depicting traditional Croatian wedding attire. The postcard was sent in 1937 from the city of Zagreb to Czechoslovakia, postmarked Yugoslavia, and is provided with a beautiful postage stamp. On the front side, an illustration of a traditional costume, the work of Prof. M. Vanka. On the back side, a handwritten text addressed to Miss Valtová in Rakovník. The postcard bears clear signs of age and both sides are very well preserved considering the date of sending. A great collector's item for lovers of ethnography, historical costumes or old postcards from the Balkans.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
