Brno – Vegetable Market, historical postcard, RU stamp

An old postcard with a painted motif of the market at Zelný trh in Brno. The front of the postcard depicts a painted view of the square filled with market vendors and visitors. In the background, the town hall tower and historic houses are visible, the atmosphere is enhanced by the many colorful umbrellas and market stalls.

The back side has handwritten text, supplemented by an Austro-Hungarian stamp with the Brno postmark, which proves the age and use of the postcard in postal service. The postcard is marked Brno – Zelný trh / Krautmarkt / Marché aux choux and is signed J. Šetelík – pinx.. This postcard is a beautiful document of the history of the city of Brno and suitable for the collection of lovers of old postcards and regional history.
