Postcard with the motif of the Špičák Military Convalescent Home, a well-known recreational facility in the heart of the Šumava Mountains. The front side shows general and interior views of the Rixi and Prokop buildings, which were used for recreation for military personnel. The winter scenery underlines the atmosphere of comfort and peace. The back side contains a handwritten short message, an original stamp from the Czechoslovakian period and a period postmark from 1991. Excellent collector's condition, an authentic document of the time, suitable for a collection of postcards from the socialist period and recreational facilities in the former Czechoslovakia.
