Historical postcard Wartburg - decorative motif, sent, Czechoslovak stamp

Original historical postcard with Wartburg Castle motif. The front side shows a photograph of Wartburg Castle in a richly colored frame with stylized motifs and animal illustrations, depicting various phases of human life according to legend. The text is in German. The obverse side is very decorative, with decorative inscriptions Gruß von der Wartburg and an overview of the meanings of various ages and animal symbols. On the back of the postcard there is a handwritten text with a Czechoslovak stamp worth 30 h and a postmark. The postcard is sent, bears signs of age, but is in good collector's condition. A very interesting piece for a collection of postcards with motifs of European castles and chateaux or historical illustrations.
