Historical postcard - Execution of Czech lords 1621, Czechoslovak Church
A historical postcard thematically focused on the execution of Czech lords from the period of the post-White Mountain events. On the front side there is a drawing depicting the imprisoned lords with the inscription "Behold, a sign... 21.6.1621". On the back side of the postcard there is a short text describing the event, specifically Kutnaur's words when he saw two rainbow signs in the sky before the execution: "Behold, a sign, Christ himself opens heaven to us." The postcard was issued for the benefit of the Czechoslovak Church. Period paper, original print. An important collector's item reminiscent of Czech history, suitable for history and philocard lovers.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
