Sedlec Ossuary - Kutná Hora, unique postcard
Original postcard depicting the famous Sedlec Ossuary in Kutná Hora. On the front of the postcard are collages of the interior of the chapel, famous for its unique decorations made of human bones, and the exterior of the Chapel of St. Lawrence. The back contains a brief description in Czech: In the lower part of the originally Gothic cemetery chapel built around 1400 and rebuilt in 1661, an ossuary was established with the remains of about 10,000 dead. The postcard dates from the period of socialist Czechoslovakia, it is an attractive collector's item suitable for thematic collections (architecture, monuments, Kutná Hora, rare places in the Czech Republic).
