Budweis Schanzturm – historical postcard, Český Budějovice, 1940, sent

Original old postcard with the motif of the Schanzturm in Budějovice (today's České Budějovice). On the front side there is a black and white photograph of the historic city tower and surrounding architecture, on the left the inscription Budweis Schanzturm. The postcard has been sent, on the back you will find a stamp worth 60 haller with a stamp from the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, dated 27.11.40. The address and text are written in German. The postcard bears ownership and minor signs of age, see photo for preservation. A great collector's item from the period of World War II and suitable for a collection of historical postcards from the Sudetenland or České Budějovice.
