Prague Old Town – postcard, small format, 1908, cancelled
An old postcard depicting a panorama of Prague and the Old Town with a view of the iconic Prague bridges, including the Charles Bridge. The artistic drawing is the work of the watercolorist V. Šešlík, dated 1908. On the back there is a handwritten greeting, a stamp with a portrait of Franz Joseph I and a postmark with the date 22.X.08 - the postcard was actually used in postal service. An excellent collector's item capturing the atmosphere of historical Prague more than 100 years ago. The size of a classic small format, the condition corresponds to its age: minor dents and visible signs of use, see photos.
