Historical postcard 1926 – President and opening of the Slovak National Library

Original historical postcard from 1926 depicting the President of the Republic accompanied by Bishop Dr. M. Blaha at the ceremonial opening of the new building of the Slovak National Union in Turč. sv. Martin on August 29, 1926. In addition to the President and the Bishop, the postcard also shows Ministers Dr. Slávik, J. Černý and Dr. Kállay. On the back is a detailed description of the event and the publisher is the Czechoslovak Red Cross on the 10th anniversary of Czechoslovak independence. The postcard is in very good condition with visible signs of age on the edges. A rare collector's item from the period of the First Republic.
