EMMAUS, Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary – old postcard, Prague

Old black and white postcard depicting the interior of the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Emmaus Monastery in Prague. The photograph shows a detailed view of the altar in a richly decorated, Gothic interior. On the edge of the front side is the inscription EMAUSY. Kaple Bl. P. Marie. and the publisher is Emanuel Ptáček. The back side with the inscription DOPISNICE is clean, unsent. The postcard dates from the first half of the 20th century and is intended for collectors of historical postcards from Bohemia, especially those interested in sacral monuments and church interiors.
