Říčany – general view, postal stamp, 1918

A historical postcard from the village of Říčany with an overall view of the town, issued at the beginning of the 20th century. On the front side there is a black and white image of Říčany with distinctive architectural features such as the church and the remains of the castle. On the back side there is a handwritten greeting and address, the postcard was actually sent by post. The stamp and postmark are well preserved, dated 1918. The postcard bears traces of age, but remains in nice collector's condition. An ideal addition to a collection of regional postcards or for lovers of Říčany history.
