Easter postcard – children in costumes, Jos. Strnad, Czechoslovakia

Easter postcard with a painted motif of sitting children in folk costumes, surrounded by goslings and a goose in a meadow. On the front side is the wish Happy Easter! . This is an artistic postcard by the academic painter Jos. Strnad. On the back side are a handwritten message, address and a used stamp from the period of the First Republic (Czechoslovakia). The postcard is in very good collector's condition, with minor signs of age along the edges. A beautiful example of ethnographic art depicting tradition and rural life of the Czech countryside.
