Christmas postcard Czechoslovakia until 1950, nativity scene motif, Masaryk stamp
Old Czechoslovak postcard with a Christmas motif and a traditional folk verse. The postcard depicts an illustrated winter scene with figures carrying a Christmas tree to a nativity scene, a typical example of Václav Kočí's painting style (signed). On the right side there is a handwritten New Year and Christmas greeting. On the back you will find an authentic postmark from Nové Hrady and a 50-haller stamp with a portrait of President TG Masaryk. Addressee: teacher Jan Horák, Proseč. Excellent collector's condition with minor signs of age, ideal for collectors of old postcards, those interested in ethnography and traditional Czech customs.
