Christmas postcard 1920 – children in costumes, Czechoslovakia, Jos. Douba

An old Christmas postcard from the First Republic. On the front side there is a color illustration with a rural winter scene, where children in costumes decorate twigs and play in the snow in front of a fence and a farmhouse. On the back side there is a handwritten dedication with the wish "Merry Christmas!", dated 1920, and original postage stamps of Czechoslovakia (5 and 10 haller). The postcard is signed by the painter Jos. Douba. A beautiful collector's item for lovers of ethnography and historical postcards, also suitable as a decoration in a retro style. Condition is consistent with age, slight wear on the corners.
