Christmas postcard Czechoslovakia 1941 – Carolers, nativity scene, Klímánek, used
Christmas postcard from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with a motif of carolers and a nativity scene. The front side shows a drawing of four winter-dressed carolers with musical instruments and a children's nativity scene. The text "Let's go to Bethlehem together, come, come, come, come...". The author of the drawing is academic painter Václav Klímánek. The back side contains a printed Christmas and New Year greeting card, a handwritten address and a Böhmen und Mähren stamp with a 1941 postmark. Issued by the Comenius Society in Prague. Very good collector's condition, a beautiful period artifact with historical value.
